BONUS REVIEW! Black Tap Burger @ The Venetian

You lucky lucky people! You get a bonus review today ... whilst I'm in the mood to type, you're getting a little insight into Black Tap Burgers and Craft Beers. It was my Birthday a week or so ago and Mr G took me to Black Tap for a birthday treat - again, it's another burger place and I promise, we eat things other than burgers it just so happened that I'd seen this place was opening in the Venetian and their milkshakes are apparently to die for. They weren't wrong. The food, to be honest, was an afterthought - we were there for the CrazyShake. And crazy it was. As it was my birthday I had to get The Cake Shake - yes, it comes with a huge slice of funfetti birthday cake on the top, yes, ON THE TOP! Mr G went Brooklyn Blackout and opted for the chocolate flavoring with accompanying chocolate brownies stuck in the top of it. Here's the pics ...
The Cake Shake does claim that it's flavor is cake batter but to me it was just vanilla - this doesn't matter though - the flavor was amazing. The sprinkles frosted to the outside of the glass made it look super cool and it was so filling I had to bring the cake slice home in a box for enjoyment the next day :) You can definitely chip off the chosen sprinkle from the side of your glass and eat them - Mr G and a man next to me who got the Cookies n Cream Oreo Shake did just that. I was too full and lacking in energy from the sugar enzymes to do this though .... Now, onto the Brooklyn Blackout Chocolate Shake. Chocolate frosted rim with chocolate chips, whipped cream and a chocolate drizzle. And of course, 2 brownies stuck in the top of it. When it came to the bar it was very drippy and it was like an ice cream melting in the sun ... Mr G made some good work of it though. It was difficult to navigate at first however after cleaning up the drips and "getting into it" the chocolate flavor of the shake was really really nice and very chocolatey. The brownies came home with us too but weren't anything special according to Mr G - they were just your standard brownie - made a cracking decoration though! So, that's all for the Black Tap review ... just wanted to give you a lowdown on a couple of the shakes really! Hope you enjoyed! Viva.
